He created the role of Calf, at Puccini's post mortem premiered last opera Turandot. Signed photo postcard, shown as Canio in Pagliacci. Signature is on verso (click on thumbnail to see scan), dated by him in Vienna in 1920. Small trimming at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
