An Order Of The Crown, V Class Knight, Military Division, C.1940 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac a 1937 Saxony province hunters’(Ordin "Corona Romaniei"). Instituted in 1881. Type II (1932 1947). In silvered bronze with red and white enamels, gilt cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 37. 8 mm (w) x 56. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, crazing evident in the white enamels on the reverse centrepiece ring, otherwise the enamels are intact, on an original ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.
